It’s almost time for BarCamp Sarasota’s Fall 2012 event. Come join BCSRQ as the first public group into the recently rehabbed GWIZ Science museum. Not a place just for kids, GWIZ offers a one of the kind resource for the Southeast United States in the Fabrication and Design lab modeled after the Bits and Atoms Lab of MIT.

It’s BarCamp Sarasota’s lunch and learn on Friday at 11:30, with a kick-off party at the Cock & Bull at 6pm. Then Saturday morning the doors open at 8:45, speaker registration starts at 9, and the event opening is at 9:30. Thinking of going home at the end of the day? With so many great speakers, so many new people to meet AND just not enough time… Join us to celebrate our first day of BarCamp at the oldest food and drink establishment in Sarasota –The Broadway Bar. Plan on coming back Sunday for a laid back and more intimate version of Saturday.
